Cerro Bayo = Blue Bird Day and Powder!

The mountain in Villa La Angostura has the most beautiful view we’ve seen at a ski hill! We caught an old bus up to the ski hill which took about 15-20 minutes from town. The best way to describe being in this bus from the 1950s, going up a dirty, bumpy track is to imagine what it would feel like to be in a paint can shaker…

Cerro Bayo Panarama

We had a fantastic day up there!! I did my first ever hike to a summit!! It was well worth the huffing and puffing as just over the other side was pure unadulterated POWDER!!!

The following day it was raining, so I had great fun making these 2 videos of our day at the hill (Nathan!! I have actually worked out how to make a video now so I can do the Japan ones next rainy day! hehehe)

Matts 180 off a nice steep drop followed by a cheeky maneuver!

Snippets of our snow tricks (Matts), falls (Matts), and snowboarding (a little of Flicks)

We’d love to hear from you if you’re reading/looking at the blog too! Just drop us a little Hi in the comments section! I’ve opened it now so all you need to do is type us a little note!! Be great to hear from you! xx
